The Secondary Regional Skills Challenges gives students in Bluewater and Bruce-Grey Catholic District School Boards the opportunity to compete against fellow students in their chosen skilled trade field. The competitions give students a chance to test their skills and knowledge of trades and gain confidence and experience in a work environment.

By sponsoring this competition, you will help to support the development of skills and excellence in the future leaders of the workforce and  bring awareness of the skilled trades not only to students, but also to educators and the public. The skilled trades industry faces a shortage of skilled workers in the very near future and this is an excellent way to encourage and support students to pursue a career in trades.
